This river, now a haven of relaxation and pleasure, invites you to immerse yourself between nature and the heart of the city.
As the seasons change, under a winter or summer sunbeam, let this audio walk be your guide as you discover Tournai's rich heritage and take a contemplative break along the Scheldt.

How can I listen to the audio walk?
All you have to do is pick up the free map from the Tourist Office (or download it above), and scan the QR codes along the Scheldt.
This walk can be done on your own or with others, in complete autonomy and freedom: the order of the audio capsules does not have to be followed chronologically, and the audio walk can be done several times, at your own pace !
Practical tips
- Make sure your phone battery is fully charged and that the 4G connection is activated.
- Make sure you have the map available free of charge from the tourist office or download it from visittournai.be.
- As you walk along the river, you’ll come across small plates containing a QR code. Scan them, choose your language and listen to the river speak to you.
- For the best listening experience, we recommend wearing headphones.
