Tournai is situated at 25 km from Lille, 50 km from Mons and 65 km from Brussels. It is ideally located next to an intersection of motorways and has a railway station where trains arrive from and depart to Mouscron, Lille, Kortrijk (Courtrai), Brussels, Mons, Charleroi, Namur and Liège on a daily basis. In other words, the city is very easily accessible by train and by car.

Exit 34 Tournai Ouest. - From Lille
Take the A1/E17/E42 motorway (Autoroute du Nord) and then take the A27/E42 motorway.
Exit 35 Tournai-Froyennes.
